Simon I’Anson is Chief Strategy Officer with Hoist Group, whose main focus is finding Hoist Group’s myriad of advanced technology solutions their rightful home in some of the world’s greatest hotels. With over 15 years of experience in the hospitality technology space, he is sharing his valuable insights through these posts. Outside of work he is a big fan of many sports, including Rugby and Tennis, enjoys spending time with his family, and likes the type of music that should be turned up to ‘11’
Jan Ekström is MD for Business Unit in Hoist Group that manages the Locks & Mobile Key product portfolio and its evolution to meet the market needs & trends. As a former Hotelier with 20 years experiences from Hospitality and past 16 years supporting the industry with innovative technology solutions, he brings an understanding of what it requires to proficiently manage the hotel operations and manage excellent customer service by partially utilizing a new technology. When he does not work, he is playing ice-hockey and pursuing an NHL career at the age of 54.
Richard Harvey is the Head of R&D for Locks and Mobile Key with Hoist Group. His main focus is to manage the roadmap of the products and time to market, also to provide development and product evolution to meet current and future customer needs. Richard has over 17 years of experience in the hospitality IT space, having previously worked with large hotel chains in a range of roles involving project management before joining Hoist Group. When not working, he enjoys motorbiking and assisting with providing support to those in need in his community.
Mathias Jeremiassen has worked with our Smart Locks and Mobile Key Solution since their launch. Over the years he has built expertise across installation, support and development of the lock products. Mathias likes working with innovative technologies, especially the ones that are web-based. Outside work, he enjoys hiking, fishing and playing football.
